Using Thermogenics to Increase Body Temperature
Summer is coming and for many that means a struggle to get in shape and add a little definition to their body. Unfortunately, regardless of the many ways to have a great body, people are always looking for a magic pill that offers fast results and will transform them into a Greek god! But mortals know that anything that comes easily, disappears easily.
To change our body we need to change our weight training, our aerobic workouts, and our eating habits, that is – all the methods that help accelerate the process of burning fat and providing good definition.
For a number of years thermogenic supplements have been popular tools for getting thin and burning body fat. This thermogenic action seeks to increase and maintain your metabolism at an accelerated rate, so that you burn more calories in the same daily activities, helping to lose weight.
The effects are a function of the combination of caffeine and synephrine. There are a number of principal effects:
• Stimulating the increase of body temperature, during prolonged exercise, causing greater burning of calories and reducing appetite;
• The chemical composition of these products often includes substances that help metabolize fats, converting them into available energy for our body, that is, we burn more fat than usual;
• They are adrenergic substances that release adrenalin, provoking a faster heart beat, creating greater disposition for physical and mental activities and as a result, a lower increase in body temperature;
• Products with ephedrine are more efficient, but this substance is prohibited in Brazil and most U.S. states, because of its collateral effects, including the risk of heart attack.
These substances would be wonderful if they did not have collateral effects.
• The main risks for use of thermogenics apply to people with heart problems and high blood pressure, because thermogenics increase the pulse and blood pressure. It is important to remember that with increased perspiration (caused by the increased body temperature) it is important to drink more water in your daily activity to avoid dehydration;
• These substances can also cause a loss of muscle mass and difficulty sleeping. For this reason they are usually taken in the morning and early afternoon and rarely in the evening or at night;
• Another important fact that I observed is that many people become dependent on supplements not only to lose weight, but as a stimulant and to rev up their training. But they feel lethargic and down after the effect wears off.
The final tips are:
• People with heart problems or high blood pressure should stay away from these products and find other ways to stay in shape;
• People who take medication for the nervous system should not use thermogenics without consulting a doctor;
• Be very careful to never consume more than one dose of alcohol on the days in which you are using the product.
We know that to get thin, we have to burn more calories than we take in and a balanced diet is still the best and longest lasting method to reduce weight. For this reason, eat well and if you use a thermogenic, consult a nutritionist or doctor for more information.
