What do you think about this sentence? By looking in the mirror, have you ever thought that maybe you could look prettier? Or, if you´re super-handsome, why do you keep attracting women who aren´t any beauty pageant finalists?
Everyone is beautiful, may you agree with it or not. But sometimes it is hard to understand the natural flow of life. A cliché, maybe? Handsome guys with ugly girls, powerful women dating someone who is the opposite, a personal trainer married to a partner who hates going to the gym or looking after the body.
If you´re part of one of these stories, calm down. Maybe I am there myself and there is no problem whatsoever when it comes to that. Seeing the world as a bunch of stereotypes is very normal and we all think that way. What we need to do is watch out for not behaving the wrong way or being rude to a person for no reason.
How many times have we ignored wonderful people just because they weren´t attractive to us? Maybe our eyes were so busy observing the hot babe crossing the street that the world stopped. From that moment on, we lost focus, we can´t remember what we came here for. All we think about is the huge, perfect ass we had the luck to bump into while going to work. Wouldn´t we all fall in love by the view?! I know I would! But maybe just maybe, you know that not always what you see is what you get and please God, I hope you´re aware about that by now.
Funny thing is, many women are examples when it comes to choosing their partners. Of course we pay attention to the hot guy at the gym or the cute men cuddling his child. But women also take into consideration the guy´s personality and the way he treats people. Is he lovely, charming, smart, polite? Then, yes please! Many girls consider this also very smart, once you won´t have too much competition if the guy you date isn´t a Greek God.
Neither is right or wrong. But what we gotta understand is that not always the prettiest of the creatures is the best choice for us. On the other hand, beauty isn´t always a sign of trouble (unless you´re too jealous!). Try to check the inside, too. What if she´s not that hot but takes your breath away when she talks about politics or sports?
Rules are here to be broken, so pay more attention to your heart. Being part of statistics is totally normal, but don´t be surprised if one day you fall in love by someone who is more real, who works and study and is passionate about life, who cares about you and not only about her body and hair and make-up. After all, we´ll all get old someday and beauty doesn´t last that long. Don´t trust your eyes only, listen to your heart.
