Love: choice or fate?

Love: choice or fate?

There is a strong tendency for people to think that they fall in love when they want. It’s not true. We don’t control love. Love is wild and comes without warning. For this reason you can say it’s a question of fate. It’s up to us to have the humility to wait, because one day it will come.

The Moon, Mars, Venus and Jupiter come together so that we are or are not in love. Saturn and Uranus can interfere in our path. And given our insignificance before the forces of the universe, we ask: what can I do?

How often do you think you are ready, that you really want to find a mate? But there is a big distance between wanting and finding someone. You may have just ended a tumultuous and traumatic relationship and your soul is still not ready to love again. It may be that your heart is closed and you don’t realize it. At other times you are afraid of getting involved for many other reasons, whether for lack of trust or simple repression. In this case, I prefer not to place the blame on destiny. It’s easier to understand that the choice is yours; whether you are aware of it or not, you can prevent love from happening.

It’s not common to find someone special, with whom you have a lot in common. For this reason, in the face of love, it’s important that you do your part. Stay alert, with eyes and heart wide open. Fate will offer the opportunities, but you are responsible for taking advantage of them.

Don’t raise so many “buts” and “ifs.” Don’t be a perfectionist, don’t be your own enemy, don’t jam up the works, or boycott the possibilities when they arise. Make an effort, get out of the house. Go to places that attract compatible people. Stop raising barriers. Recognize how fortunate you are. Know how to receive.

Also know that everything that you need and want is more accessible when you substitute the phrase “What do I have to gain from this?” with “How can I help?”  That’s how to do your part, open the door; let love in.
