Hair care is not exclusivity of women any longer. Men have a large market share when it comes to buying cosmetics and products destined to skin, hair and regular appearance. If you still cannot accept that, notice that women are all for guys who look after themselves and understand the importance of looking good.
Just like us, men also need to take care of their hair whether they´re dry, oily, wavy, thin or thick. Each hair type needs a special kind of shampoo and please, put this in your mind: it isn´t vanity, it´s a health issue!
Oily hair, for example, accumulate residues which may cause scalp problems. Dandruff should also be kept under control by using the appropriate product. For the ladies, guys who suffer from dandruff is equivalent of women who don´t shave their legs or armpits. So beware!
Opaque and dry hair also need special shampoo and conditioner. If you´re used to washing it every day, chances are your hair dries out and grows irregularly and fragile. That might be a downside in several situations and some people might see you as someone who does not care about the way you look.
Some time ago the use of gel and hair mousse were restrict to women. Nowadays they are practicalities which help you keep it on its place and control the volume of the most rebel curls and frizz. It is quite hard to be able to control hair volume, which may leave some guys with their hair up – literally! When this happens, palliative care resources - such as the use of dryers - are replaced by permanent treatments, like the permanent blow dries, flatting and others. Hairstylist are prepared to work for the male community, too. So don´t be afraid and give it a try. It may be a way of looking ever more handsome and attractive.
Up until a few years back, men who died their hair didn´t get that natural appearance we´re all after. Women also don´t want to look as if they had their hair died at the saloon. We all want something natural and discreet -which was almost impossible a few years ago. With the advance of chemical technologies, though, the products developed for men now offer varied colors and more natural effects. Highlights are also becoming common among modern guys – the effect is pretty aphrodisiac for some of the ladies, so go for it!
After turning 40, men´s production and renewal of collagen declines – it´s normal! Protein
replacement is important for firmness of skin and capillary appearance. After 50, there is the need of mineral and vitamins supplementations, so don´t leave it aside.
Look after your soul, your appearance and your health. Researches show that the number of deaths among men is bigger when compared to women because the majority of guys don´t look after their health. So pay attention to yourself and take care!
