Competition: how far would you go?

Competition is part of the male world as it is part of the female world. Maybe out of instinct, men tend to compete more aggressively whereas women are more fragile and discreet when it comes to proving themselves.
Wandering in a nightclub while checking the available material is quite easy – you don´t think women only dress to kill thinking on the men they´ll see, do you? We dress to impress other women, too. Surprised?
You have probably heard someone saying that the ladies do not dress up for men, but for other women. Well, that is quite true, at least for the majority of us. But why? I would say it is because when we´re surrounded by beautiful girls all we want is to be noticed, to get your attention, to be the chosen one.
Also instinctively, men tend to stare women´s bums and tits. Some say it is only natural – and we believe it is, too. After all, we look so hot on that dress it would be only strange if you didn´t take some time to appreciate our curves – politely and discreetly, must I add!
So yes, we kind of like showing ourselves to other women. On the other hand, we are aware you guys like showing yourselves, too. But you don´t usually use your body for it. You play with you’re the available toys you have - meaning your sportive cars, your expensive suit, your presence in nice restaurants and fancy parties. When you´re accompanied by a stunning pair, well that´s bliss!
Luckily neither of us walk around carrying handmade weapons like we used to a looong time ago – yes, talking about caves and stuff here. Our weapons are somewhat different these days, but that doesn´t mean they´re less powerful. Ok, now we´re talking about technological stuff, as iPhones, tablets, cell phones and other gadgets. It is almost a war when it comes to owning the best and the latest. And I would say that might become a little harsh on yourself if you do it considering what others will think of your latest conquer.
Competition for status is always the most intense. Back in the old days the competitor who owned the best cave and the most food usually won the best ladies. That hasn´t changed much, has it? We are constantly after a nicer job, more money, a comfortable house, an expensive car… and all that would be okay if you did it for yourself, but what usually happens is that we give our best in our jobs and sacrifice our relationships and family to impress others. Shouldn´t we stop giving importance to what others think of us?
Go for it, fight for the things you want, do your best, try new stuff and risk others. But never ever risk your own happiness or those special people who make your life special for opinions and judgments which won´t add to your routine.
