Yesterday at the end of a party one of my male friends came to me and asked me something I´ve heard a zillion times before: ´what do women want?´ He was in the company of other guys who also started questioning me about this. I told them what we want is very obvious indeed.

I wear an Eiffel Tower pendant and one of the men asked if being in a romantic place like that – Paris that is – requires men to be romantic all the time. Is it that clear to men that women would love being in Paris with the love of their lives, lots of romance and glasses of champagne?
 
Developing romantic stereotypes isn´t just a girl thing. Men also assimilate some elements with love itself. During one of my marketing classes last week my teacher explained that publicity to women is totally different than those turned to the male community. When it comes to the ladies, the ads are usually emotional, whereas when the brand wants to reach the men, it has to create something funny or nonsense. If even marketing can tell the different, so can you...

I know, I know, it is a cliché. We love romance in Paris! But we also enjoy partying in Vegas. We´re fun and we love having fun with ours friends or boyfriends. That is when you think we´re sexy – when you realize we know how to have some fun, too. It´s not rare for a man to fall in love with a good female friend because she´s easygoing and clumsy. The situation is the same the other way around. How many times have we fallen in love for that friend who is charming and interesting? Seeing a man with romantic stereotypes is aphrodisiac for most of us! And many of you are aware of that and use it to get what you want.

It is always great getting a phone call the next day, even if it has nothing to do with love or romance. Women just love this male feedback and I really believe this should be compulsory after these dates which end in sex. Of course some of us would say no to the very romantic guys, but you don´t need to be too much if you want to impress. Just give us a call and ask how we´re doing. Say things were great last night and that´s it. Don´t promise anything you don´t feel like, but even the toughest girls will love hearing you had fun with them the other day. Or are you going to tell me you wouldn´t like to hear good things about yourself and your performance?

Keep a hot list in mind, I don´t care. Just use it wisely with the interesting women you meet. Maybe you can add the next-day call to the list and bear in mind that romance isn´t always boring or melodramatic. Remember you can always have fun with the girl you´re with, not matter where you are or what you´re doing. Little gifts and surprises are also welcome and we´re not talking anything expensive. Just the fact that you have been thinking of her is totally worth it. If you guys are into sexy lingeries, well, keep in mind that we also like to see you wearing nice things.

We´re not saying you have to cancel all your plans and abandon soccer night with your friends. Not at all! Even because we also need our space and our girl-nights-out so we can chat about things women usually chat about. Just share your time with us when you feel like and don´t think we won´t notice when you do it. We will and you´ll score! I can guarantee ;)
